I will start by saying that I am not an expert when it comes to the technical side of photography. That being said, as this is a conceptual piece I feel that the emotion or feeling that this image speaks to is as impactful as any technique that is utilized.

The atmosphere of your photo is what caught my attention. It feels to me much like a matte painting. It is subtle, yet powerful in drawing me into the vision... 'Wait a little'.... Knowing how fleeting deer can be, I feel the stag wrapped almost round the man is a strong statement to this piece.

I see an almost true (if not complete) Fibonacci sequence starting on the right, just above the back-end of the stag and spiraling downward and then leftward and up around. Drawing the eye into the flow of the atmosphere of this piece.
